Students are introduced to different Lean tools including value stream mapping, 5-S process, seven deadly wastes, standardized work flow, error proofing, setup reduction, integrated reliability, and production and inventory control. This course uses a project-based approach; provides students with theories, guided discussions, hands-on exercises and industrial case-studies.
